Despite an illness that had swept across Cuba and made its way into the Prodanza Ballet Studio, the ballerinas showcased their hard work and talent for us to photograph. With temperatures outside in the 90s, the ballerinas did not slow down and displayed a toughness I was not prepared for. I appreciated their efforts, as well as their grace and performance. Visiting the ballet studio was a highlight on the trip to Havana.
